Cayton View Care Home in Eastfield, Scarborough has been launched as the first "Masonic Aware" Care Home.

On 2 October Provincial Grand Master David Chambers was joined by members of the Province, partners and friends and by managers Leah Moon and Tobyn Danforth for the unveiling of the dedicatory plaque.

During the morning a cheque presentation was made by Cornerstone Lodge to representatives of Inspire North - Emma Pickles and Jayne Carter - in support of their charitable activity in the areas of mental health, dementia, homelessness and domestic abuse.

Following refreshments the attendees took a short tour of the excellent facilities on offer to residents. All were very impressed. More on this initiative as it is rolled out around the Province
